Fountain work in Hudson

Home · Areas · Hudson

Hudson is salt, retirees, and a pump that is overdue for a swap.

North of Holiday, closer to the Gulf, Beacon Woods and US 19. Repair and quiet courtyard work. Not a showpiece market.

This lot

Hudson is retiree west Pasco: manufactured homes, 1970s planned pockets like Beacon Woods, and waterfront toward the Gulf. Lots are modest. People want it to work, not to be on a magazine.

Sandy, salt in the air, sometimes a high water table near the coastal canals. Metal fittings do not get a long life if you cheap out.

What actually fails here

Salt and neglect. A fountain that ran for ten years and then sat a season will have a stuck pump and a stained bowl. Owners are often not on the property year-round.

What we install here

Service visit, pump, fittings, a bowl we can clean. New work is a small courtyard piece that a snowbird can leave running on a timer without flooding the lanai.

Hudson calls are often a relative on the phone. The owner is north for the summer and the fountain went green. We can work from a photo and an address, then confirm on site.

A quiet pump matters here. Windows stay open. A humming vault against a bedroom wall is a callback.

We will not build a twenty-foot waterfall on a manufactured-home lot. Scale is the whole job.

If you are in Beacon Woods, read that page. The association and the 1970s plumbing are their own mess.

How we get there

US 19, Hudson Beach, Beacon Woods entrance, State Road 52. We do not treat Hudson as New Port Richey with extra miles — the air is saltier and the housing is older.

Pasco. Straightforward on inland lots. Waterfront gets a closer look.

Questions we get on this street

Can you service while we are out of state?

Yes, with a local contact who can let us in the gate. We need someone on the property.

Is Hudson too far?

No. It is north on 19. We batch Hudson with Holiday when we can.

Notes from the yard

Freeze nights, algae, room on the truck. A few times a year. Not a weekly blast.
